Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services of Ahmos Tours, Travel & Air Cargo Ltd ("Ahmos Tours," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service with Ahmos Tours or accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Ahmos Tours, Travel & Air Cargo Ltd provides a range of travel and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage packages
  • Safari and tour packages within Uganda and East Africa
  • Air ticketing and flight reservations
  • Visa processing and travel documentation assistance
  • Hotel and accommodation bookings
  • Car hire and airport transfer services
  • Air cargo and freight logistics
  • Passport processing assistance
  • Travel insurance facilitation

3. Bookings and Reservations

All bookings made through Ahmos Tours are subject to the following conditions:

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ahmos Tours and/or the relevant service provider.
  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be communicated at the time of booking.
  • Full payment must be received by the deadline specified in your booking confirmation.
  • It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all personal details, travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates), and other required information are accurate, valid, and up to date.
  • Ahmos Tours reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking if payment is not received by the agreed deadline.

4. Pricing

All prices quoted by Ahmos Tours are subject to the following conditions:

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice until a booking is confirmed and payment is received.
  • Prices may vary depending on the season, availability, exchange rates, and specific service requirements.
  • Any additional costs arising from changes to your itinerary, special requests, or unforeseen circumstances will be communicated to you in advance and are the client's responsibility.
  • Prices are quoted in the currency specified at the time of booking. Currency fluctuations may affect final pricing for international services.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to ahmostours3@gmail.com. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued.

Please note that certain services, including but not limited to airline tickets, hotel reservations, and visa processing fees, may be subject to the cancellation policies of the respective third-party providers and may be non-refundable. Ahmos Tours will advise you of any such conditions at the time of booking.

6. Travel Insurance

Ahmos Tours strongly recommends that all clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, flight delays, and other travel-related risks. While we can assist you in arranging travel insurance, it is ultimately the client's responsibility to ensure adequate coverage is in place before departure.

7. Liability

Ahmos Tours acts as an intermediary between clients and third-party service providers, including but not limited to airlines, hotels, transport operators, and tour guides. As such:

  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party service providers.
  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, overbookings, or schedule changes made by airlines or other transport providers.
  • We are not liable for any loss of personal belongings, luggage, or valuables during travel.
  • Our liability in all circumstances is limited to the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for the following:

  • Providing accurate and complete personal information for all bookings and travel documentation.
  • Ensuring that all travel documents, including passports, visas, health certificates, and vaccination records, are valid and up to date.
  • Complying with the laws, regulations, and customs of the countries visited during their travels.
  • Arriving at the designated meeting points, airports, or departure locations on time.
  • Informing Ahmos Tours of any special requirements, medical conditions, or dietary needs in advance.

9. Force Majeure

Ahmos Tours shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, severe weather conditions, volcanic eruptions, or any other force majeure events. In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or rescheduling where possible.

10. Amendments

Ahmos Tours reserves the right to update, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website. It is the client's responsibility to review these terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
